Sometimes saying no feels really bad. How do we make that feel better?
I’ve found that every ‘no’ is actually a yes… Somewhere…
“Sorry, I can’t do that for you right now.”
-Frenzied Mom saying “no”
What we forget about is that the reason it’s a ‘no’ is that we are currently saying ‘yes’ to something ELSE.
We can only say ‘yes’ to about one thing at a time. If you’re feeling bad about say ‘no’ consider trying to refocus on what you are saying ‘yes’ to rather than focusing on the ‘no.’
“Everyone has been so busy this morning so I’m taking care of my body laying down for a second. Maybe, when I’m done doing this task for my body, I might be able to help you with that. Maybe not, but I’ll let you know.”
-Frenzied Mom reframing the “no” as the yes that it is
May you enjoy reframing all your “no’s” into the joyful yeses that they actually are!
All my love,
